There are five award categories:

QAIHC Member of the Year 
This category is open to any Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service that has achieved outstanding results in 2019 through initiatives that demonstrate leadership and a commitment to organisational excellence.

QAIHC Leader of the Year
This category is open to an Executive or Board Member in a Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service who has made an outstanding contribution to leadership excellence during 2019.

QAIHC Innovation Excellence Award
This category is open to any Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service team that has achieved outstanding results in 2019 through the implementation of initiatives that demonstrate leadership and a commitment to excellence in innovation.

QAIHC Partnership Excellence Award
This category is open to any Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service that has achieved outstanding results in 2019 through initiatives that demonstrate leadership and a commitment to excellence in partnering with external organisations.

QAIHC Patient Satisfaction and Service Excellence
This category is open to any Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service team that has achieved outstanding results in 2019 through initiatives that demonstrate leadership and a commitment to excellence in customer services.
